TRUE NORTH YOU
Be The True You
A BIT ABOUT MICHELLES
Yoga began with one goal - to lose baby weight. I was in search of a way to workout, that was accessible and adaptable. After the passing of my mother, I dove deep into my practice. The more I practiced, the more I learned about myself and my body. Yoga had created a space to go that taught presence and provided a sense of peace. I knew I wanted to share this with others in hopes that yoga could do the same for them. In 2015 I enrolled in a 200 hour teacher training at Dana Hot Yoga under the instruction of Lisa Mitchell. Teacher training is an experience to truly grow, transform, and learn about who you are. Graduating from teacher training in January 2016, was just the beginning. Since then I have also completed a Level 1 Wall Vinyasa training in January 2017; Yoga Sculpt training in December 2017; and a second 200 hr teacher training in August 2019. I have plans to complete a 300 hr in the future to always continue learning. The journey of a yoga teacher is never ending, always evolving, providing learning and opportunity for growth.
MICHELLES CREATIVE SIDE AND PATH TO TIE DYE
There is no one way I like to be creative. But I find joy is being free to do anything. I have always loved tie dye, lots of color, and rainbows. Rainbows brighten my day, make me smile, and make me feel more like me. My hope is to create in order to bring others the same joy. Starting as a way to salvage stained clothes, turned into exploring new dyes and exploring different techniques such as ice dye, reverse dye, and traditional liquid dye.
I create anything from custom tie dye, earrings, tea, natural skin care and more!
Life sometimes isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but it is our job to shine our light, and not be afraid to radiate bright. Allow me to create something special for you to express your truest self.
"May the sun bring you new energy by day
May the moon softly restore you by night
May the rain wash away your worries
May the breeze blow new strength into your being
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty every day of your life."
